DURHAM, N.C. – The Oregon State University Beavers came in No. 6 in a new top 25 preseason Baseball America poll. The Oregon Ducks baseball team ranked No. 15 in “Baseball America’s” preseason poll.

UO Ducks coverageThe Ducks were ranked No. 6 in the Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll in December. Seven starters return, including four pitching staff starters and an All-American reliever, the team said.
OSU was also No. 8 by Perfect Game and 10th by Collegiate Baseball.
The Beavers open 2013 on Feb. 15 in Palm Springs, Calif. OSU taking on Utah Valley before a four-game series the following weekend at San Diego State. The Beavs then return home for a Goss Stadium opener March 1.
The Ducks open their season Feb. 15 against Hawaii in Honolulu. The first home game at PK Park is Friday, Feb. 22.
