PORTLAND -- Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week, the team announced Monday.
The two-time NBA all-star led the Blazers to a 4-0 week, averaging 22.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2 steals and 1.75 blocked shots.
They won in Brooklyn and Milwaukee, and when they hosted Chicago and Golden State. In the Golden State game, Aldridge racked up 30 points, 21 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocked shots.
This is the fourth Player of the Week honor for Aldridge.
Washington’s John Wall was picked as the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
