GLEN ALLEN, Va. -- An Oregon baseball team won the Babe Ruth 14-and-under World Series Friday, beating the home team in Glen Allen, Virginia, 5 to 4.

The Mound Time Bandits, based in Hillsboro, were tied going into the seventh and scored 2 to jump ahead, 5 to 3. The Glen Allen team was only able to score one more run and Bandits took home the title.

Many of the players and fans felt the earth move during their playoff game Thursday. The team continued to play through the 5.8-magnitude earthquake that hit the East Coast.
