WASHINGTON, DC - The Portland Trail Blazers got a much-needed road win in Washington Saturday night, topping the Wizards 110-99.
The Wizards came into the game with the third-worst record in the league, but the Blazers had no reason for overconfidence after Washington beat them at the Rose Garden earlier in the season.
Jamaal Crawford stepped up big for the Blazers, scoring 23 points in one of his best performances for the team.
Marcus Canby was called for a flagrant foul in the first half and was ejected from the game, but if anything it seemed to spark the Blazers.
LaMarcus Aldridge was on top of his game, scoring on 12 of 15 shots to tally 30 points and 10 rebounds.
Raymond Felton had his best game as a Blazer, adding 21 points and 5 assists and Portland won 110-99.
"We can all sit in a big circle and say all the right things but guys gotta do it out here, so this was one step forward," said Aldridge after the game.
