PORTLAND -- The Winterhawks won Game 6 of the Western Hockey League Finals in Portland Saturday, forcing Game 7 Sunday night in Edmonton.
Oliver Gabriel scored two goals for the Winterhawks as they beat the Edmonton Oil Kings, 3-2, in front of a sold-out crowd at the Rose Garden.
Joe Morrow added a third goal for Portland.
Goalkeeper Mac Carruth made 30 saves on 32 shots.
