A couple of days ago, Tim Howard was just a goalie making 16 amazing saves for Team USA. But now, thanks to the Internet, Tim Howard is everything. With some creative photoshopping and some contact with the Pentagon, he's now saving and defending everything from Bambi to the entire United States.
He can save dinosaurs from extinction.
He can bring companies like Blockbuster video back from the dead.
He could have stoped the Titanic from sinking.
He can even catch Bambi before he slips and falls on the ice.
Someone even changed his Wikipedia page to say the goalie has been appointed to defense secretary of the United States.

And on Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel called Howard to acknowledge Howard's defense skills.
With a soccer ball in hand, Hagel told him that "with some training, he could someday become the real secretary of defense," according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Defense.
So if Tim Howard's soccer career ends before the 2018 World Cup, he has a lot of other options to pursue, as long as he keeps defending in one way or another.
