PORTLAND -- Game tickets for Portland’s new MLS Timbers soccer team hvae been selling at a brisk pace.
The team’s home opener will be April 14th at the newly named Jeld-Wen Field.
Team spokesman Chris Metz said season tickets were already sold-out and only 500 tickets or less remain for most games.
The new Jeld-Wen field will seat 18,627 fans, meaning roughly 18,100 tickets have already been sold for each game.
Metz also pointed out that two matches - the Timber’s home-opener at Jeld-Wen and the home game against Seattle on July 10th - were already completely sold out.
