CORVALLIS -- Christopher Avalon Miller, a redshirt freshman defensive back, has been dismissed from the team, according to athletic department spokesman Steve Fenk.

He had not played in any games this season. He was not listed on the team roster Monday morning.

Miller, from Pomona, Calif., was jailed on accusations of first-degree menacing, first-degree criminal trespass and unlawful use of a weapon. He was arrested and booked on Saturday. He was being held on $50,000 bail.

Details of the incident were not available.
