PORTLAND – The agent of former Trail Blazer Greg Oden thinks his 24-year-old client may be ready play by the end of the year.
Mike Conley Sr., told the Miami Herald Oden was likely considering joining a team next season and has talked about how he may be considering the Heat.

A No. 1 draft pick sidelined numerous times by injuries, Oden's latest setback involved his surgically repaired left knee and led to him eventually get benched with the Blazers before becoming a free agent. It was his third knee surgery since he was drafted.
Oden had previously said that he planned to work on healing for next year.
