EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Leo Manzano won the men's 1,500 meters at the U.S. track trails in 3 minutes, 35.75 seconds for a place on the Olympic team.

Former Oregon Duck Matthew Centrowitz was second in 3:24.84 on Sunday at Hayward Field. His fellow college teammate, Andrew Wheating, was third in 3:36.68 for the final spot on the U.S. team for the London Games.

Manzano was runner-up in the event at the trials in 2008.

Morgan Uceny won the women's 1,500 meters in 4 minutes, 4.59 seconds Sunday for a place on the Olympic team.

Shannon Rowbury was second in 4:05.11 and Jenny Simpson earned the third spot on the team for the London Games in 4:05.17 at Hayward Field.

It was Uceny's second straight U.S. title. Simpson has the American record in the 3,000 steeplechase, but switched to the 1,500 and is the reigning world champion in the event.
