What should be our Spotlight Game for week 5 of Friday Night Football?

PORTLAND -- Week four of KGW’s Friday Night Football features a heavy dose of league play in the 6A ranks.

Our game of the week is the annual “Holy War” with Jesuit hosting top-ranked Central Catholic.

The Rams are off to a great start with wins over defending 6A champions Sheldon and perennial powerhouse Lake Oswego. Jesuit is ranked 4th in the latest Oregonlive 6A poll and are 2-1 to start the season.

This week’s kgw.com Spotlight Game poll winner is McMinnville High School. The 12th ranked Grizzlies cracked the Oregonlive 6A poll this week thanks to an impressive 3-0 start. They host the Forest Grove Vikings, who are 2-1.

More than 52,000 votes were cast in this week’s Spotlight Game poll with 50% choosing this Pacific Conference matchup.

Other games on KGW include Lake Oswego vs. Southridge, Century vs. Tigard, Aloha vs. Sunset, West Linn vs. South Salem and Lincoln vs. Canby.

KGW will also be at Friday's Grant vs. Barlow early game where the Generals are dedicating a new field. The family of former Grant star Ndamukong Suh will be on hand for the ceremonies.
