PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Garrett Jackson scored 15 points, including a pair of free throws with less than 10 seconds left, and second-ranked Westview advanced to the state championship game with a 56-53 victory over South Eugene Friday in the OSAA Class 6A semifinals at the Rose Garden.
Westview (25-3) will play top-ranked Jesuit (25-2) in the state championship game on Saturday night. The Crusaders beat Lincoln 66-41 in the earlier semifinal.
Austin Kuemper added 13 points for Westview.
Spencer Coleman had 22 points for fifth-ranked South Eugene (20-7), which took a 49-47 lead with 2:27 left on Coleman's free throws. Westview answered with Hayes Garrity's 3-pointer.
Hayden Rooke-Ley scored on a layup to pull South Eugene to 54-53 but Jackson's free throws sealed it.
