EUGENE, Ore. – As heavy snow blanketed the Willamette Valley and much of Oregon Friday morning, many people took the opportunity to get out and enjoy the rare early December winter weather.
In Eugene, the Oregon Ducks football team was no exception. In a rare moment of jubilation before a pending bowl game, the team took a moment to go sledding.
In a video posted on the GoDucks YouTube page, the team, including quarterback Marcus Mariota, slides on inner tubes, builds snow ramps, and shoots video of the whole endeavor.
The Ducks are coming off a 36-35 win against the Oregon State Beavers in the annual regular season closing Civil War.
