Oregon men and women both win Pac-12 titles

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Oregon men's and women's track and field teams each won Pac-12 titles on Saturday.

The Ducks' men won with 149.5 points, for the most consecutive titles since USC won eight between 1957-64, followed by the Trojans with 108 and UCLA with 98.5.

Oregon's women finished with 139 points for their fifth straight conference championship, ahead of Arizona with 123 points and Arizona State with 110.33.

Among the individual winners were senior Elijah Greer, who ran the 800 meters in 1 minute, 49.48 seconds and Phyllis Francis, who won the 400 meters in a season-best 51.57 seconds. Freshman Jenna Prandini won the 100 in 11.46.

Laura Roesler won her second straight Pac-12 championship in the 800, while English Gardner also won her second straight 200 title in a school and meet record of 22.62.
