Brad Keselowski wrested the points lead from Jimmie Johnson with last week's victory at Dover that marked his fifth checkered flag of the year. The Penske Racing driver leads the five-time series champion by five points with seven races left.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — There's a tie for the lead heading into the third round of the PGA Tour event in Las Vegas. Jonas Blixt fired his second consecutive 7-under 64 to pull even with Brendon de Jonge, who followed a 62 with a 66 on Friday. Blixt would have had the outright lead if he hadn't double-bogeyed the par-3 17th. Ryan Moore is one stroke back and two ahead of Tim Herron and Daniel Summerhays.
CARY, N.C. (AP) — Russ Cochran was the leader when the second round of the Champions Tour event in Cary, North Carolina, began today. Cochran opened with a 6-under-par 66 yesterday, giving him a one-shot edge over Fred Funk and four others.
