GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — Hope Solo has lots to say heading into the Olympics. And she'll have even more to say once the games are done.

The goalkeeper for the U.S. women's soccer team is releasing her memoir on Aug. 14 — two days after the closing ceremony.

She's already been quite the Solo act heading into the Americans' first game Wednesday against France in Glasgow, Scotland. Two weeks ago, she received a warning after testing positive for a banned substance, and then she was one of several athletes quoted in an ESPN The Magazine story about commonplace sex in the athletes village during the Beijing Olympics.

U.S. coach Pia Sundhage says "she's back from the 'Dancing With The Stars' to dancing with the players."
