SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The Pac-12 has announced an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative to carry the conference's new network on their members' systems.

The deal announced Friday sets the terms for the more than 900 cable operators who are members to air Pac-12 Networks after the launch Aug. 15.

The conference had previously reached distribution deals with Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Bright House Networks. Negotiations with DirectTV, AT&T and Dish Network are still ongoing.

Pac-12 Networks will televise 850 live sporting events annually on its national and six regional networks. That includes 35 football and more than 120 men's basketball games in the first year.
