DUI probation hearing postponed for Warren Moon
07:03 AM PST on Friday, February 15, 2008
REDMOND, Wash. - A judge has delayed a probation hearing for Pro Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon, who pleaded not guilty to a drunken driving charge earlier this month.
Moon was on probation as part of a previous negligent-driving sentence when police say he refused to take a field sobriety or breath test during a Dec. 28 traffic stop in Medina (muh-DYE'-nuh), a suburb east of Seattle.
Moon's attorney asked that the hearing be postponed until after a March 31 pretrial conference about the drunken driving charge.
During a brief hearing yesterday, King County District Court Judge David Steiner agreed to delay Moon's probation hearing until April 14.
