A man who killed former Seattle radio talk show host Mike Webb with an ax has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Scott Brian White apologized Friday to King County Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Ramsdell for killing Webb and said he was "filled with so much pain and sorrow."
Webb was a former host at KIRO Radio who had allowed White to live with him at his home. The 51-year-old's body was found in the crawl space of the rental home in June 2007.
White pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder. Prosecutors had sought a low-end sentence of 12 years in return for the guilty plea. Both the prosecution and defense described White as suffering from severe mental illness.
