Bend police arrested a 26-year-old man accused of secretly videotaping women in dressing rooms and bathrooms.
Police say Lorenzo Gonzalez-Mendoza had a tiny hidden camera concealed in a backpack that would be placed on the floor. He is accused of recording women at Fred Meyer, the Shops at the Old Mill, and possibly the restrooms at Drake Park.
Lt. Ben Gregory says a search warrant has been served on the Bend man's computer, and investigators are looking for images that might identify more victims and locations.
Gonzalez-Mendoza has been arraigned on charges of invasion of privacy, and attempted invasion of privacy. He's due back in court August 11, when he's expected to either enter a plea, or a trial date will be scheduled.
