Two local high school sluggers will participate in the Home Run Derby at the upcoming Triple-A All-Star game in Portland.
Sid Jensen from Hillsboro High School and Kevin Taylor from Sunset High School compiled the most points in a qualifying competition at PGE Park.
Jensen will join the Pacific Coast Leaguer sluggers in the derby, while Taylor will represent the International League.
The professionals joining them in the July 13 competition will be announced next week.
