A La Grande man is facing numerous charges involving the alleged use of counterfeit currency.
The La Grande Observer reported that 28-year-old Zachary James Andyke was arrested Wednesday by La Grande police and Union County sheriff's deputies.
Police Chief Brian Harvey said the arrest capped a monthlong investigation assisted by the FBI and U.S. Secret Service.
Andyke was charged with 15 counts of forgery, possession of a forged instrument, criminal possession of a forged device, possession of methamphetamine and theft.
Harvey said additional charges were pending.
