Bandon Dunes golf resort will host the 2011 women's and men's U.S. Amateur Public Links championships.
The U.S. Golf Association says it is the first time the two events for public course players will be held jointly. The tournaments will be held June 27-July 2.
Three courses, Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes and Bandon Trails, currently make up the scenic resort on Oregon's southern coastline. Another course, Old McDonald, is scheduled to open next year.
The USGA did not announce which courses will be used for the 2011 event.
Bandon Dunes also hosted the 2006 Curtis Cup, an international women's team competition.
