Ten Oregon State Police recruits are set to graduate Friday from their basic training program.
The recruits were hired and trained with money approved during the 2007 legislative session.
OSP Superintendent Timothy McLain says the recruits will help provide patrol enforcement support at several OSP offices, including some that are nearing a return to around-the-clock patrol coverage.
Tillamook and Salem will each get two of the recruits, while the other six will join offices in Albany, Bend, Burns, Klamath Falls, Oakridge and Portland.
