The scheduled arraignment for a man accused of running down a Mossyrock convenience store owner has been postponed for his mental evaluation.
John David Joel Angeline reportedly told police he was the Lord and he thought the victim was a Buddha trying to cast a spell on him.
Police had to use a stun gun to subdue the 41-year-old Lakewood man when he was arrested Monday for investigation of murder.
A Lewis County deputy prosecutor told KITI Thursday that Angeline's evaluations at Western State Hospital would take about three months.
The owner of the Flying K market, 53-year-old Soon Yang, ran in front of a pickup that was leaving without paying a $34 gas bill.
