Tayler Jordan put Portland ahead and the Winter Hawks added two empty-net goals to beat the Kootenay Ice 4-1 in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.
Portland goaltender Kurtis Mucha stopped 36 of 37 shots as the Winter Hawks won for the eighth time in 29 games.
