Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck says he suffered a bone bruise when his knee was hyperextended during a painful hit in the loss to the New York Giants.
He told KIRO Radio it's not a weight-bearing bone and he'll be able to play in Sunday's game against Green Bay in Seattle.
The Seahawks' pride was bruised in their 44-6 loss to the Giants. Hasselbeck says the team played poorly.
Among those who called Hasselbeck with advice was Seattle's former quarterbacks' coach Jim Zorn, who has coached Washington to a 4-1 record.
The Seahawks have a 1-3 record with the Packers coming to Qwest Field.
