A 45-year-old Seattle man has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the fatal beating of his developmentally disabled roommate.
The development came Wednesday in a plea agreement between Brian Walsh and the King County prosecutor's office. He had originally been charged with first-degree murder in the April 2007 slaying of 44-year-old Harold "Benjamin" Reside.
Prosecutors say they'll recommend a sentence of 18 years.
