The State Patrol says a patrol car was totaled by an erratic driver as the trooper was attempting to set out a spike strip on I-90 near North Bend.
The trooper was able to jump out of the way and was uninjured Wednesday night when the patrol car was rear-ended.
The patrol says the driver of the car, a 39-year-old Issaquah woman, was injured and taken to Overlake Hospital in Bellevue.
Troopers had been trying to pull over her car after she struck a jersey barrier in Bellevue and continued driving erratically on I-90 east through Issaquah.
