A Portland man has been sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for possession of child pornography.
David Olander, 54, was sentenced on Thursday by U.S. District Judge Garr M. King. He was also sentenced to 60 months of supervised release after the prison term.
Olander had pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
Agents discovered more than 1,000 images depicting child pornography, including videos, on Olander's computer. During an interview, he admitted to downloading the child pornography from the Internet.
