A former North Santiam School District teacher has been charged with sex abuse involving a child under the age of 14.
John Lulay of Sublimity was arrested May 5 following a secret grand jury indictment.
Stayton police say the investigation began about three months ago, following a report.
According to Marion County court records, the alleged victim and witnesses testified to the grand jury.
Trial is set for June 13 for the 59-year-old Lulay.
