Witnesses say a light plane lost power and crashed into a pickup truck Monday evening near Pappy Boyington Field in Kootenai County, Idaho.
An Idaho State Police volunteer says one of the two people aboard was sent to a hospital and another walked away from the crash.
The volunteer says the pilot apparently was practicing touch-and-go landings when the plane appeared to lose power over the Kootenai Electric Cooperative office and then hit the pickup.
Boyington Field was formerly known as the Coeur d'Alene Airport.
