Police investigate death at Ontario correctional institute

Oregon State Police and the Malheur County District Attorney are investigating a suspicious death at the Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario.
Officials say a male inmate was found dead in his cell Monday morning. Police are not releasing the inmate's name until next-of-kin have been notified.
The state medical examiner's office in Portland will conduct an autopsy.
