Digimarc, a Beaverton-based company which makes digital watermarks used for security, said Monday it has agreed to sell its ID Systems business to L-1 Identity Solutions Inc. for $250 million in cash and stock.
L-1 agreed to pay half of the price in cash and half in newly issued stock.
The acquisition has been approved by the respective Board of Directors of each company.
