Several law enforcement agencies teamed together in the Grants Pass area — with the help of a commercial truck driver to arrest a Merlin-area woman after she was driving the wrong way on Interstate 5.
The Oregon State Police received several calls reporting a wrong way driver traveling at a high rate of speed, northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 on Sunday.
A commercial motor vehicle overhearing CB radio traffic reporting the wrong way driver stopped his tractor and trailer on the highway.
Police say as the wrong way driver approached the parked semi, it pulled to the shoulder and activated its emergency flashers.
State Police say 38-year-old Mandy Boozer, from Merlin, was arrested for DUII and other charges.
