The KGW School Supply Drive is a partnership between KGW Newschannel 8, Fred Meyer and On Point Community Credit Union. Our goal is to send more than 5000 children back to school with basic school supplies they otherwise couldn’t afford. We are asking you, our viewer, to help us by:
Making a cash or loose supply donation at one of the following locations:
OnPoint Community Credit Union
Participating Fred Meyer locations
A $25 gift will provide school supplies for one child for the year (any amount is appreciated).
Cash, Online and Loose Supply Donations will be distributed to the school district in which the donation is made.*
*Allocation of online donations will be determined by the billing zip code. Donations made at a Schoolhouse Supplies partner locations will be donated directly to the Schoolhouse Supplies Store serving Portland Public Schools
