Sen. Obama's Oregon schedule May 17 & 18

PORTLAND – U.S. Senator Barack Obama will return to Oregon on Saturday and Sunday for a campaign swing through the still undecided state.
Here are the details released so far about his schedule:
SATURDAY, MAY 17
Roseburg High School
400 West Harvard Ave
9:30 AM doors; 11:30 AM program
Tickets are free but required
Ticket Pickup: Roseburg Obama Office
850 Mosher Ave (Time: Fri 9–9)
SUNDAY, MAY 18
Gresham, OR
Discussion with seniors
Program Begins:10:15AM for only Huntington Terrace residents.
Portland Rally With Barack Obama
Sunday, May 18th
Waterfront Park at the Hawthorne Bridge
Enter at corner of SW Columbia & SW Naito
There will also be some traffic detours due to the Obama rally Sunday: Northbound lanes on SW Naito Prkwy will be closed from SW Clay Street to SW Salmon Street at 7:30 am. Southbound lanes on SW Naito Prkwy will be closed from SW Market Street to SW Taylor Street at 11:00 am. Naito Prkwy will not reopen until 4:30-5pm.
In addition, the Burnside Bridge is shut down all weekend for striping work, the Sellwood Bridge will be closed Sunday for inspections and the Hawthorne Bridge will be closed Sunday as well, until about 2:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public; however, seating is limited and tickets ARE required. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of the public are invited to pick up free tickets at the locations listed below.

Tickets are available Saturday, May 17 from 9:00am-2:00pm
(For security reasons, do not bring bags. Please limit personal belongings. No signs or banners permitted.)
Michelle Obama also visiting Oregon
Michelle Obama will make several campaign stops in Oregon with Senator Obama on Saturday and Sunday. More details will be released as they become available.
