Since Jan. 2, elections officials have registered more than 112,000 voters, roughly divided between new voters and those who have changed their party affiliation.

Membership in Oregon's Democratic party surged in advance of the primary election on May 20th.

About two-thirds of the party switchers have reregistered as Democrats.

Oregon has just over two million registered voters.
