KGW, a Belo Corp subsidiary, in Portland, Oregon seeks an aggressive, motivated and dynamic Local/National Sales Manager. This individual would act as the Local/National Sales Manager for Estrella Portland. Individual would sell and supervise the sales of Estrella Portland, make client calls to local Spanish TV advertising agencies and advertisers, develop and execute strategies to help general market advertisers tap into the regions vibrant Hispanic market, and assist account executives in developing client presentations. In addition, this individual will be responsible setting sales goals for the department and assisting account executives in achieving those goals. Individual will also be required to coordinate with Estrella National Sales Team on National Sales.
Position requires 5+ years media sales experience, excellent written, verbal and Microsoft Office skills. A college degree is preferred. A direct sales background in media, television advertising is preferred. Spanish/Bi-Lingual preferred.
