Michael Berk joined KGW in December of 2010, and is thrilled to be back in the northwest. Following a 4-year run in Eugene, Michael spent four years in the Las Vegas desert, working for KLAS-TV before returning to Oregon.
Michael and his wife live in SW Portland with their two children who, like dad, also yell at the TV when the N.Y. Giants and Knicks are playing! He’s even got the 2-year-old girl chanting “de-fense!” (unfortunately she does it when they’re on offense.)
“We are very excited about living in Portland and becoming part of this wonderful community. It’s also great to be covering sports in a city & state, whose fans have great passion for their teams.”
