LIMA, Peru (AP) — A deep, magnitude 6.1 earthquake has shaken Peru's central jungle region. There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck at 4:38 a.m. (9:38 GMT), 21 miles (34 kilometers) east of the provincial capital of Pucallpa at a depth of 89 miles (143 kilometers).
