Portland Marathon impacts traffic Sunday

PORTLAND, Ore. – Traffic throughout Portland will be impacted Sunday morning and early afternoon due to the annual running of the Portland Marathon.

The marathon starts in downtown Portland at 7 a.m. and traffic may be disrupted until as late as 3 p.m.
Here’s a list of bridge closures:

Broadway Bridge: Eastbound lanes (including bridge access from Union Station) will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. to all traffic except Portland Streetcar. Streetcar service will be maintained in both directions. The ramp from southbound North Interstate Avenue to the bridge and from northbound N Interstate to the bridge via North Larabee Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Westbound bridge lanes and bridge sidewalks will be open.

Burnside Bridge: Westbound traffic lanes will be closed from 6 a.m. until 8:45 a.m., except for TriMet buses.  Eastbound lanes, bridge sidewalks and bicycle lanes will remain open.

Morrison Bridge: The westbound ramp from Interstate 5 to the bridge will be closed and westbound traffic lanes on the bridge will be closed from 6:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Eastbound lanes and the on ramps to Interstate 5 and Interstate 84 will remain open, along with both bridge sidewalks.

The Fremont, Hawthorne and Ross Island bridges will remain open.
