PORTLAND, Ore. -- Multnomah County Health Department announced that vaccine clinics were being discontinued in at least three locations as demand wanes.

Vaccine clinics will be discontinued at the Women, Infants and Children locations in East County and Gateway, according to county public affairs spokesperson Althea Milechman. Another clinic at La Clinica de Buena Salud also was to be closed, she said.

Swine flu vaccines were still being offered free of charge at the county's immunization clinic in downtown Portland and through various private and retail locations.
