It's the craziest shopping day of the year. Black Friday. The day after Thanksgiving.

"Just fighting through the crowd. You couldn't really walk comfortably. You had to suck-in your gut. It was pretty amazing," said shopper Thinh Tran about last year's Black Friday in Portland.

Stores have all kinds of deals to get you in the door - early. This year is no expection. In fact, Black Friday 2007 might offer some of the best deals of all time, especially on the "big ticket" items - such as flat-screen TVs, computers, and GPSs.

This year, many of the ads have been leaked to Black Friday websites. KGW tracked down those ads, and got a sneak preview of the best deals of the season.

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) high definition TVs continue to drop quickly in price. On Friday, you'll find them as cheap as $200 to $300 for smaller ones.

The best deals on LCD TVs:

- Wal-Mart, Polaroid 32-inch LCD HDTV: $448 (only on Friday)

- K-Mart, Olevia 32-inch LCD HDTV: $420 (only on Thanksgiving Day)

- Circuit City, Element 32-inch LCD HDTV: $400 (only on Friday)

The best deals on laptop computers:

- Comp USA, HP Pavilion Notebook: $500 (only on Thanksgiving Night, after 9pm)

- Best Buy, Sony Laptop: $400 (only on Friday)

- Circuit City, Compaq Laptop: $300 - but this deal requires a $150 mail-in rebate (only on Friday)

The best deals on Global Positioning Systems (GPS):

- Target, Magellan Maestro 3100 GPS: $149 (only on Friday)

- Comp USA, Magellan Maestro 3100 GPS: $148 (only on Thanksgiving Night, after 9pm)

- Best Buy, TomTom One LE GPS: $120 (only on Friday)

- Circuit City, MIO GPS: $100 (only on Friday)

Keep in mind, most of these items are extremely limited. Many local stores in Oregon and Southwest Washington will have fewer than 20 of each, so they'll go quickly once the doors open. Somes stores, such as Best Buy, will give you a "line number" - a ticket representing where you are in line - outside, before the doors open.

Many shoppers complain that's the worst part of Black Friday because, as Thinh Tran said, "You can't really get [the deals]. There's too many people." Another complaint: almost all the deals end by noon on Friday.
