The biggest gingerbread house in the world has been constructed in Bryan-College Station, Texas. It set a Guinness World Record at more than 39,000 cubic feet. It was built by the Texas A&M Traditions Club using 1,800 pounds of butter, 7,200 eggs, 7,200 pounds of flour and 3,000 pounds of brown sugar.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- The biggest gingerbread house in the world has been constructed in Bryan-College Station.

It set a Guinness World Record at more than 39,000 cubic feet.

It was built by the Texas A&M Traditions Club using 1,800 pounds of butter, 7,200 eggs, 7,200 pounds of flour and 3,000 pounds of brown sugar.

It contains a whopping 36 million calories.

All money raised from visitors will all be donated to St. Joseph's Hospital. So far more than $15,000 has been raised.
