FOO FIGHTERS EXPLAIN COLORING BOOK BACKSTAGE RIDER
NEW YORK (AP) -- The Foo Fighters' backstage rider looks like a coloring book -- but it could have looked like a Waffle House menu. Singer Dave Grohl tells Rolling Stone their tour manager, Gus Brandt, writes the rider, which specifies what the band wants backstage. The Smoking Gun posted the Foo Fighters' latest rider, which includes a coloring book, a word search and puzzles. Grohl says the Waffle House menu idea was too tricky. Grohl says the rider is not so much to ensure good food for the band, but for the crew, who show up at 7 AM and aren't done until 2 AM. Grohl says he could survive on "microwaved burritos and Crown Royal."
