OPRAH'S CO-OP NOW FOR RENT AT $15,000 PER MONTH
CHICAGO (AP) -- Oprah Winfrey is renting out an eight-room co-op she owns in downtown Chicago, but it won't come cheap.
Winfrey bought the unit in 2006 but never moved in. The Chicago Tribune reports (http://trib.in/vw6XIW) that she once listed it for $6 million, but didn't sell it. Now, the co-op is available to rent for $15,000 per month.
The co-op is in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood, a few miles from the studio where Winfrey taped her talk show before it ended earlier this year. It has three full baths, two fireplaces, a butler's pantry, a wine room, a custom kitchen and a master bedroom measured at 1,241 square feet.
Winfrey owns several other properties in the area. Her spokeswoman and listing agent declined to comment.
