LENA DUNHAM GETS 7-FIGURE BOOK DEAL

NEW YORK (AP) -- "Girls" creator Lena Dunham is laughing all the way to the bank. The comic has signed a seven figure book deal with Random House. Dunham is the Emmy-nominated star, writer and director of the HBO series Girls. No publication date has been set for her essay collection "Not That Kind of Girl." Several competitors for the book deal say bidding went past $3.5 million.
