RICKY MARTIN SIGNS DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL TELEVISON

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The parent company of NBC has signed Ricky Martin to a TV deal. He will develop and star in his first network TV series and network specials, according to Universal Television. Besides NBC, Universal also owns Telemundo, Bravo, MSNBC, CNBC, E! and USA. It's not certain what network would carry Martin's shows.
