MADONNA PACKS IN A LOT DURING SUPER BOWL PERFORMANCE
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Who would have expected Madonna would end her Super Bowl halftime performance with as many clothes on as when she started? She hit the stage covered in a gold robe, threw it off for a gladiator costume, took off the gladiator skirt to reveal a short black dress, then ended up in a full black choir robe. She performed "Vogue" as giant magazine covers were shown on the field. As she sang "Music," dancers in track suits flipped over bleachers while a guy in a toga bounced on a tightrope. LMFAO joined her for a mash-up of "Party Rock Anthem" and "Music." Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. were Madonna's guests on her new song, "Give Me All Your Luvin'." Cee Lo Green led a marching band for "Open Your Heart," then joined Madonna with a gospel choir for "Like A Prayer." Madonna's performance ended with her dropping through the floor and "world peace" written on the field in lights. Madonna kept it clean -- but M.I.A. didn't. She gave an obscene gesture at the end of her spotlight moment.
